Kelli Burdette was excited to join the faculty at Samford University’s Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing in the fall of 2018.  Her previous experience includes providing care to obstetrical and newborn patients in the hospital setting for seven years, working as a part-time clinical instructor for Samford University, and then serving an Assistant Clinical Professor at Auburn University at Montgomery.  Burdette is thankful to those who have mentored her and believes she is fulfilling her calling to teach students about the profession she loves.  One of her favorite Bible verses is “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him” Colossians 3:17.  She is married to Reverend Brian Burdette, and they have four sons: Austin, Jackson, Carson, and Grayson.
